Decadence...dieters beware!!

First of all, Mark...I want to apologize in advance...what you are about to see here might just kill your diet, but I can't resist...I wanna!!!

I've heard of them before...a "Turducken." Basically it's a Thanksgiving Day dinner on steroids. A chicken stuffed in a duck stuffed in a turkey. I've seen a few recipies for the darn things and one of these days, I'm treating myself (and a bunch of other people) to one.

Well, now I've found something even better. A "Turbaconducken." My mouth is watering just typing this. Imagine a turducken wrapped in bacon. Yep...I'm thinking "a heart attack just waiting for a poor soul to happen along." Mmmmmmm. Yep, I'm sure Mark is not going to be too happy with me.

The other thing I found is the Bacon Explosion. I can feel my arteries hardening already. I'm so making myself one of these babies!!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm goooooooood!

I might need to have an ambulance standing by when I make these two monstrosities...I feel a heart attack coming on!

I am sooooooo going to Hell for tempting Mark and any other person even considering a diet by even thinking about posting something as decadent as this.

Which reminds me...when Christmas rolls around...I got a desert that I cut out of the Free Press waaaay back when... I have to find it though. My ultimate desert. Cover your eyes, Mark. It has over 1000 calories per slice! WOOOOOO!

It'll be worth it, no matter what happens to me...

Dude, those are all whole foods - closest to nature & far from the chemically engineered processed food substances (ie cereals, low fat carbs., packaged snack cakes, etc) that made us fat, diabetic, laden with heart disease, metabolic disease, and some cancers.

I eat bacon & eggs every day and if I ate that bacon role, not only would I be in heaven , but I'd probably get leaner, too.

It is whole food nature intended us to eat - not processed, chemically engineered low fat food substances. Get this book from your library or book store, http://www.amazon.com/Good-Calories-Bad-Gary-Taubes/dp/1400040787 written by scientist Gary Taubes http://blog.msmusclesfitness.com/2009/01/14/youre-not-fat-because-youre-lazy-and-eating-too-much.aspx - watch those!

A great example is my friend (Karen)who has extreme physical problems in digestion & autoimmune disease and she's finally 80% better due to this new evolutionary (primitive man)type of eating. She tried every diet through the years such as low fat, vegetarian, Mediterranean, and Atkins diets...nothing ever worked... until now....now she eats 1/2 lb. bacon as breakfast, has a light lunch of nuts & berries with meat (she's still not hungry from breakfast), and a steak for dinner! She's also leaner, has no more gas & bloat, is less stressed, and has more energy and clearer mind!

Evolutionary eating is best because our bodies can utilize the nutrients in it - nature's way. I have lots of info (as does that book) about cholesterol, come to find out...it goes deeper and cholesterol itself is a much needed hormone and only a symptom of an underlying problem.
Check out Mark http://blog.msmusclesfitness.com/2009/02/10/say-no-to-diets-and-start-eating-again.aspx and this great news http://blog.msmusclesfitness.com/2009/02/10/low-carb-diet-burns-liver-fat-induces-greater-weight-loss-and-spares-glycogen.aspx

And your right about people having heart attacks at mealtime, only it's the high carb. meals that cause them ie. pasta! That stuff is hard on our systems!

So, when's dinner? He, he :)

  2. LOL Don't worry about me. I've heard about these for a few years. And to tell the truth, they kinda make me nauseous just thinking about it. Heavy carbs and sweets are my problems.

So you won't be going to Hell....at least not because of me! LOL
